I’m Heather — a home cook exploring food and wellbeing, learning in real time what genuinely helps me feel better, steadier, and more myself.

The Tabletop Journal grew out of my own need to slow down and pay closer attention. To notice what nourishes me, what drains me, and what supports me in everyday life. This space is shaped by that ongoing process — curious, imperfect, and always evolving.

Here you’ll find mostly healthy, deeply comforting recipes — food that’s supportive without being restrictive, made to be cooked, shared, and returned to. Alongside that, there will be gentle reflections on wellbeing, mindfulness, and the small, everyday choices that quietly add up.
